Here's how it goes!

I'll be splitting this contest into Two sections.

-First is the most obvious, which is for you to draw Lincoln. Finished art, sketches, photos are all fine and dandy. If you want to go the extra mile and throw another guy in there (say, I don't know... Orson Welles), feel free. Best one wins.

-The other thing you can do is colour the new Lincoln drawing in my gallery. If you're up to it, go ahead and make your own poster (hint: the font I use for the title is Impact). Once again, best one wins.

So there you have it, two winners. You can enter either one or both, and multiple submissions are groovy too.

Well, I have no drawings done worth showing, feel like shite (think I have a bad mattress or something), and want to update this journal with no real topic to discuss. So grabbed one of these quiz things to ease the boredom. No tags because I never do it when I am.

I am shorter than 5'4.
-Nope, about 6' these days.

I think I'm ugly sometimes.
-I wouldn't say ugly, but I'm not a looker in any stretch of the imagination.

I have many scars.
-A few, one on my right hand, my upper lip, and various small nicks.

I tan easily.
-My hair actually has a natural redish tint, so hell no.

I wish my hair was a different color.
-Nah, I do wish my hair would just stay in place though.

I have a tattoo.
-Not till I kill a bear.

-Only when I don't have a shirt on.

I have/I've had braces.
-Used to had them. Bloody hated it.

-I don't think my vision is 20/20 anymore, but still no need.

-As long as my home life is good, doesn't matter too much to me.

I'm taking the time here to post some older art I've done, reflect, cringe, or just talk about it. If anyone has any particular you'd like to hear about, just comment with it.



Seems fitting that I would post my first submitted drawing to DA. This really was the start of not just what got me noticed by a good amount of people on here, but posting art online at all. Before it, I really just posted some terrible Evil Dead and Penny Arcade stuff.



This one I still really like. My inking was still far from being very good, but it's simple enough that I could get away with that. Even though my skill has gotten better, I do think I've lost a bit of my scene settings and mood (though, Tycoon Cake is letting me do story telling).



I still really dig this one. I would later do the rest of the Titans in the same style, but none of them got any better. Though, I did find a few people who copied the Starfire one and posted them elsewhere. Doesn't annoy me, since it gave some impression that I was an influence.



I remember really liking this one. I most not have actually looked at it after I drew it. *shudder*



Hmm, Robin is covering his crouch with the candy. Wow, how did I get away with this? I never would go and post a comment on it later..



I've thought about revisiting the "Wednesday Eve" holiday before, but every time I think of it the day has passed. I guess any Tuesday would do, but eh.



Oh, Grave. Haven't we all drawn a character that really had no substance, but at the time thought it was the bee's knees? The composition is actually pretty tight on this one. Don't know how I pulled that one off.



I still love this one, but I'll be damned if a comment on it doesn't still piss me off. The jackass must have thought he should be the only Calvin & Hobbes fan. In retrospect, I wish I had just told him to go fuck himself.



One of the last Teen Titans drawings I would do. At this point, I didn't have regular tv anymore, so the desire to draw them again was going away day by day. Plus, I wanted to transition into some other subjects, though none would get me as much attention.



Pure example of the meaning of the drawing being more important than the drawing itself. I've had to learn some hard lessons since this drawing was done, but I really don't think I would have changed much. Those feelings don't go away completely, but you can't dwell on them.



The last drawing I would submit for exactly a year. I had some soul searching to do, and really thought I'd never return to this account. Maybe someday I'll show my other account that I posted on in that year away....

Hola chums.

New artwork has been delayed a little while. Between work and a recent death in my family, I really haven't been too much in the drawing mood. I'm working on it, hopefully at least have a sketch worthy enough to show.

Anyways, my new car is running fine, and I really couldn't be happier about it. Hell, I was giddy as a stupid, stupid school child when I turned on the radio in it for the first time (my old car didn't have a radio). So here's hoping this one doesn't take a dive on me!

Anyways, to wrap this one up quickly, new art soon, cookies appreciated, and tacos adored.
